A lucky player has scooped the third biggest lottery win ever in the UK.

They matched all seven numbers to win £123 million on the EuroMillions in today’s draw.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: ‘One very lucky ticket-holder has scooped tonight’s entire £123 million EuroMillions jackpot, catapulting them right up into third place of the biggest-ever National Lottery wins in the UK.’

The winning main EuroMillions numbers were 25, 27, 39, 42 and 46.

The winning Lucky Star numbers were 11 and 12.

The identity of the winner has not been announced.
