Twins found dead 'in joint suicide' were My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding stars

Twin brothers found dead in an suspected joint suicide have been named as Bill and Joe Smith, who appeared on My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.

The siblings, both 32, were found dead in a tree in a country lane in Sevenoaks, Kent, days after Christmas.

Police say their deaths are not being treated as suspicious.

Paddy Doherty, who appeared with them on the TV show, posted a tribute on Facebook, saying ‘RIP boys’.

He uploaded a video saying: ‘Two good looking boys, God bless their souls… That’s a terrible, terrible tragedy…

‘There’s always worse than yourself… Pray for the boys’ family, the boys’ mother and father, help them be strong and get through this.

‘I’m very very sorry for your troubles. Anyone watching this please say a prayer for those left behind…

‘May God look after them… They are two angels… They’re in the kingdom of heaven walking on gold.’

Bill and Joe were part of the third series of the programme, when they were working as gardeners aged 24.

They were filmed on holiday in Tenerife as well as working in Kent.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: ‘Kent Police was called at 11.34am on Saturday 28 December 2019 after the bodies of two men were discovered in Dibden Lane, Sevenoaks.

‘Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the deaths are ongoing but they are not currently being treated as suspicious.

‘The next of kin of both men are aware and being kept updated.’
