Piers Morgan will be speaking on US TV network Fox News about being “cancelled” in his “first wide-ranging on-camera interview” since leaving Good Morning Britain. The former host departure from the morning show on March 10 came after comments made about Meghan Markle’s Oprah Winfrey interview. ITV announced the decision following Ofcom’s move to investigate his comments that had prompted 41,000 complaints.

In the clip, Mr Carlson says: “Piers Morgan was banished from television for asking a simple question.

“How is it that the most privileged people in our society get away with posing as the most oppressed?

“For asking that, of course, they crushed him and took his job away.

“On Monday, we will speak to Piers Morgan for his first wide-ranging on-camera interview since he was cancelled.”
