Thrifty Queen wears same outfit AGAIN as she attends day four of Royal Windsor Horse Show

Her Royal Highness wrapped up warm by donning her favourite headscarf and beige overcoat. The show has been held since 1943 in the Queen’s private Windsor Gardens and is the largest outdoor equestrian event in the UK. Her two granddaughters-in-law Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle famously wear different outfits when they make public appearances.

But the Queen chose comfort over style as she spent her Saturday watching the international jumping event.

The Queen has had a busy week as she was one of the first members of the Royal Family to meet Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie.

The seventh-in-line to the throne arrived in the early hours of Monday, weighing 7lbs 3ozs.

While attending the Order of Merit service at Windsor Castle with Prince Philip on Tuesday, the Queen first spoke about her eighth great-grandchild.

One guest asked: “Life is good for Your Majesty?”

The smiling Queen replied: “Yes, thank you.”

“Congratulations. Another great grandchild!” the guest added.

The Queen replied: “I know.”

She was then asked how many she had before replying “eight”.

Buckingham Palace said on Monday that the Queen and the duke were “delighted” at the news of the birth of Harry and Meghan’s baby son.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex introduced their son to the world at St George’s Hall, in Windsor Castle, on Wednesday.

Meghan said: “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing, and I have the two best guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”

When asked who the baby takes after, the duchess said: “We’re still trying to figure that out.”

Prince Harry added: “Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks we’re basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really. But his looks are changing every single day, so who knows.”

As they both laughed, Harry joked: “I don’t know who he gets that from.”

Meghan added: “He’s just been the dream so it’s been a special couple of days.”

The duke described parenting as “amazing”, before adding: “It’s only been two and a half days, three days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy.”
