This time they can be trusted! Brexit activist Darren Grimes backs Boris’ cabinet
Brexiteer and campaigner Darren Grimes argued that he had complete trust in Boris Johnson and his team to deliver Brexit. In an interview with Express.co.uk, he explained that he that each member of Mr Johnson’s team was committed to delivering Brexit and therefore could be trusted. He added that the Leave majority were being treated like a minority by some politicians as he complained about Remainers failing to respect the referendum result.
Mr Grimes said: “I trust the people that Boris Johnson has put around him.
“For a long time, I think the Leave majority, 17.4 million of them, have been treated like a minority.
“We are spoken about as this minority that can be fobbed off and ignored.
“I think that is what project fear was all about.

“We have had constant attrition of our moral and people have just thought, Parliamentarians have been thinking: they will get bored of it, these plebs will just move on and forget about their fanciful ideas about independence and trading around the world.
“And actually that hasn’t happened.
“I think I am more optimistic by the people that Boris has put around him, the team he has actually assembled around him.
“I think they are entirely committed to Brexit who understand what it would do to trust in our politics if that vote isn’t implemented.”
Trust in Boris Johnson and his Cabinet has been shaken over the weekend as leaked document operation Yellowhammer details a no-deal as chaos for the country.
The document warned that a hard border would have to be put up in Northern Ireland and there would be food, medicine and fuel shortages.
Cabinet Minister Kwasi Kwarteng argued that the leaked document is more “scaremongering” as he claimed too many people were buying into “project fear.”

The Tory MP and Cabinet member told Sky News that the UK desperately needed to prepare for a no-deal Brexit.
He also insisted that Boris Johnson’s Cabinet would ensure the UK was “fully prepared” to leave the EU without a deal by October 31.
The Sunday Times claimed to have full access to the Yellow Hammer document and their front page dubbed it “operation chaos” as they stated, “Whitehall’s secret no-deal plan was leaked”.
