A UK town has been hit by its third earthquake in three weeks, residents claim.

Leighton Buzzard in Bedforshire was shook by a 3.0 magnitude earthquake this morning, according to the British Geological Survey.

Several residents on social media said they felt the tremor, which ’caused houses to shake and windows to rattle’.

One person wrote: ‘It shook the house, I thought something had landed on the roof!’
