Teen charged with murder after boy, 16, stabbed to death in west London
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of another boy, 16, in west London, on Thursday, the Metropolitan Police said.
The suspect will appear in custody at Ealing Youth Court today following an incident in Yiewsley on December 30.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 7.34pm following reports of a stabbing.
Paramedics found a 16-year-old male with a puncture wound but despite their efforts he was pronounced dead on Philpotts Farm Open Space close to Heather Lane
The incident came at the end of a brutal year for knife crime in London, in which 30 teenage homicides were recorded in the capital.
