'Tech executive' arrested for fatal stabbing of Cash App founder Bob Lee

Police in San Francisco have reportedly arrested another tech executive for the fatal stabbing of tech executive Bob Lee last week.

Lee, the 43-year-old founder of mobile payment app Cash App and the current chief product officer of cryptocurrency startup MobileCoin, was stabbed in the city’s Rincon Hill neighborhood around 2.35am on April 4.

He was reportedly stabbed near a deserted intersection in the tony residential neighborhood, located adjacent to the San Francisco Bay.

The arrest was first reported by Mission Local, citing multiple police sources. The outlet claimed the suspect was another tech executive who knew Lee.
