Fans have rushed to defend Prince Harry and Meghan Markle amid breakup rumours following the collapse of their deal with Spotify.

Reports have suggested the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning on taking “solo projects” as they focus on their separate careers.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, has faced a lot of backlash in recent months following the release of Harry’s memoir Spare – something which experts believe could have created tension among the couple.

According to Entertainment Tonight, reports circulated that Harry had got his own hotel room for some time away from his wife.

On 18 July, Radar Online reported on Harry and Meghan’s rocky patch, claiming the two are “taking time apart”.

“However, there have been rumours circulating in recent months that the fallout from Spare, which is pretty epic for Prince Harry who had Britain really turned against him, his home country; he’s really not welcomed here.

“[The book has] left a bad taste in people’s mouths. It’s further alienated him from his friends and his family and I think, inevitably, that has put a strain on them.”
