State pension fury: Scottish WASPI woman to vote Tory as she rubbishes Labour pledge
The Labour Party have pledged £58 billion “debt of honour” to women born in the 1950s after their pension age was increased from 60 to 66. But Caller Aubrey from Edinburgh doesn’t “believe them for a minute”. The WASPI campaigner noted manifestos are a “waste of time”.
Speaking to Mike Graham on talkRADIO, Aubrey said: “I’m a WASPI, I don’t believe Labour for a minute that that’s going to happen and they’re going to give us all thousands of pounds.
“Really, I think most people now just find most politicians are a real shower of liars.
“They’ve been shown to be that so many times over the last few years now.
“People are fed up. I just want to put my cross against a box and see what happens.”
She earlier said: “All this talk about manifestos which I get because they’ve all been released just this week.
“But I think I’m alone in feeling it’s all a waste of time.
“The manifestos issued in 2017 by all the parties all said they were going to honour the referendum and leave the EU.
“They all went back on that so they mean absolutely nothing, they’re just fairytales.
“I don’t think anybody takes them seriously anymore.”
Mr Graham asked: “So how do you choose between the parties about who’s offering what’s best for you?”
Aubrey replied: “I’m not paying any attention to any of that.
“I’m voting for the Conservatives, I’m in Scotland so you can take that as it will.

“I will never vote SNP.
“I am not for an independence referendum, they’re a shower of idiots as far as I’m concerned.
“But I’ll vote Conservative because I want to leave the EU.
“Hopefully they will get us out and that’s my main thing.”
