Staggering aerial images show extent of mammoth pro-Palestinain protest line

Aerial view shows extent of Palestine Solidarity March

Shocking new images show an estimated 100,000 pro-Palestinian protesters marching over Westminster Bridge.

The aerial images taken in over London today (Saturday, October 28) by Sky News show the extent of the mammoth protest that took place through the city earlier.

The march was to urge an end to Israel’s attacks in Gaza, reports The BBC.

Demonstrators gathered on the streets of the capital waving Palestinian flags and banners and chanting.

And, it’s reported, that there has been some unrest as a result of an arrest made.

Metropolitan Police said on X: “A suspect has been arrested on Whitehall after a Police Officer was assaulted.

“The suspect is in custody and the Police Officer is being looked after by Police Medics, on route to hospital.

“We will come back to you with an update on the Officer’s condition later on today.”

Section 60 and Section 60AA orders have been put in place along the protest route.

This means that officers can stop and search people without reasonable suspicion.

It gives officers powers to require the removal of items such as face coverings which are concealing someone’s identity.

Sky News tweeted: “Thousands of people have joined a pro-Palestine protest in London calling for an end to Israel’s bombardment of Gaza.

“Police estimated around 100,000 demonstrators gathered in the capital.”

Pro-Palestine protests also took place across the UK – including in Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast and other cities.

Social media users have commented on the protest with author Ben. M. Freeman expressing his views on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Ben, author of Jewish Pride: Rebuilding a People and a columnist for @Jerusalem_Post, said: “London. Now. This is horrifying. How are Jews meant to stay in the U.K.?”

Another wrote: “What is the *realistic* long-term solution to ending conflict in Gaza/Israel?”

“The world needs peace,” said another.

Senior police officers warned that Iranian agents are creating unrest in Britain by stoking Gaza protests.

According to The Times, counterterrorism officers have said that Tehran is attempting to heighten tensions at rallies over Israel’s bombing of Gaza.

It is thought to be directly linked to the Iranian regime, with campaigns including online disinformation and Iranian operatives physically attending protests.

It comes as the Israeli military said ground forces will be “expanding operations” in the Gaza Strip ahead of an expected full-scale ground invasion.
