Sky News reporter hilariously mocks Caroline Lucas on Boris Johnson’s election bombshell
Sky News reporter Jon Craig reflected on the mixed feelings within the House of Commons regarding Boris Johnson’s determination to have a general election on December 12 2019. Mr Craig explained the Labour Party were unsure how to deal with this development while Brexiteer Tories were happy with Boris’ determination. The Sky News reporter then took a dig at Ms Lucas and the Green Party by insisting they would not be split on the latest Brexit development as she was the only MP representing the party n Parliament.
He said: “Labour MPs are mumbling and muttering, not quite sure how to react to this.
“Conservatives like Iain Duncan Smith is very pleased with this obviously.
“It will be the first December election since 1923, that produced a hung Parliament, a defeat on the Kings Speech.
“It resulted in another election the following year.”

“What is your reaction to Mr Johnson saying fixed-term Parliament motion Monday proposing an election on the 12th of December?”
Ms Lucas replied: “I don’t think an election is going to resolve Brexit.
“I think Boris Johnson is counting his chickens somewhat and assuming he will have got this deal through by early November.
“I think wants this Bill gets into committee stage people are going to see a very large number of flaws in it.
“Many of us also want to see this go back to the people.
“So what we want to see him do is to put this back to a referendum.
