Princess Olga discussed Royal Family TV interviews during a grilling from ITV’s Lorraine Kelly. The Queen’s cousin told Lorraine that Royal Family members should sit down and shut up in regards to TV interviews, adding that a member of the monarchy should never wash their dirty linen in public.

Ms Kelly said: “Her children have given extensive TV interviews, we have seen that.

“Do you think that is the way ahead to modernise the Royal Family or do you just think people should shh?”

Princess Olga replied: “I was told to sit down and shut up and never wash your dirty linen in public, whatever it happens to be.

“So I think the Queen does it right.”

Lorraine added: “Yes she just gets on with it and works incredibly hard too.”
