Sheffield Hallam MP Jared O’Mara is believed to have been arrested on suspicion of fraud, say reports.

It is thought the MP was arrested on Friday after officers raided his constituency office.

Officials are currently analysing his computers and documents as part of the investigation, reported Mirror Online.

Office manager Gareth Arnold was also arrested on Friday on suspicion of conspiracy to commit fraud.

Two men were released on Saturday pending further enquiries.

According to the news site, Arnold reported the MP to police in July over his expense claims.
