Scottish nationalist at border tells English to 'stay the f*** away'
A group of Scottish nationalists have staged a protest near the border warning the English to stay away.
Footage showed a convoy of vehicles stopped on the side of the road on the A1 towards Berwick-upon-Tweed.
The cars and vans were decorated with a ‘Keep Scotland Covid Free’ banner, independence slogans and Scottish National Party (SNP) flags.
In a video, a man with a wearing a mask and a hazmat suit approached the camera and said: ‘Basically, what we’re saying is, stay the f**k out’.

There have been concerns in Scotland that England is easing restrictions too soon, with pubs, restaurants and hairdressers reopening on Saturday.
But pubs in Wales and Scotland must remain closed until later this month as the devolved nations are lifting their own lockdown rules more slowly
Witnesses also heard the protesters shouting ‘plague carrier’ at cars travelling up from England, the Scotsman reported.
Another man in a different clip posted online was seen writing down camper van registration numbers and said he was prepared to ‘shame them to death’.
Scottish Conservative MPs called on First Minister Nicola Sturgeon to condemn the group.
Rachael Hamilton, Scottish Conservative MSP for Ettrick, Roxburgh and Berwickshire, tweeted: “Scotland is meant to be a welcoming country. Do these people in masks realise they’re telling Scottish people who live in England and work in Scotland to f*** off? What kind of example does this set @NicolaSturgeon?”
Sturgeon this week did not rule out border checks for people visiting from England if infections rise significantly there.
