The event, held by an external provider, was attended by students from multiple schools in Doncaster, on February 9. But when children logged in, instead of seeing the author event that was promised, it was hacked by men who were said to be “playing with themselves” on the screen, reported YorkshireLive.
South Yorkshire Police said that the men also made threats towards the children who were attending the session.
One parent whose child clicked on the link for the event, said: “They had a lesson with their teacher. She then told them to click on the link and listen to the author. She then left the group and muted the chat (so the kids couldn’t message her).
“A few kids obviously clicked the link she sent over and there there were loads of foreign men stood totally naked with their private parts in there hands.”
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said: “We received a call yesterday (9 February) at 11am reporting an online session, being hosted externally to a number of Doncaster schools, being hacked by two men.

“It is believed they committed lewd acts and made threats towards the children attending the session.
“Enquiries are on-going to ascertain the circumstances and find those responsible.”
Yorkshire Live understands six schools in the Doncaster area were invited to join the event that was held by an external provider and not the schools themselves.
The police are working closely with Doncaster Council and anyone with information that can help officers should call 101 quoting incident number 358 of February 9.
The external provider said that they would not be commenting at this time due to the police investigation.
