The Duchess of York has found a snack which uses a selection of raw vegetables in a creative way for the whole family. On Friday, Ms Ferguson showed the fun idea in a video on her YouTube channel.

Red, yellow and orange peppers are the focus of her new lunchtime snack.

The Duchess cut holes in the ends of the peppers to join them all in a train.

After scooping out the insides of the peppers, Ms Ferguson stuffed them with carrots, celery and more peppers.

She then added slices of cucumber along the sides of the peppers to resemble wheels for the train.

In the video the Duchess said: “You’re going to take a lovely, delicious, wonderful mixture of fabulous crudités and we’re going to cut the pepper to make sure he has nothing inside.

“They are going to be so good for us to eat too because they’re going to give us lots of Vitamin C and we’re going to get really healthy and well.

“That’s what we need to worry about nowadays, don’t we? We’ve got to be healthy and well.”

At the end of the video the Duchess said: “There you have the most fantastic train.”

In April, Ms Ferguson launched her Youtube initiative ’Storytime with Fergie and Friends’.

She has reportedly been entertaining children around the world with her daily stories during the pandemic.

The Duchess’ aim was to help comfort young people during the crisis.

Famous figures including Poppy Delevingne and Catherine Zeta-Jones have reacted to the initiative.

She said: “Used to read this to Dylan and Carys, love it.”

Ms Ferguson has written several children’s books including Ballerina Rosie, Budgie Goes to Sea, and Matthew and the Bullies.

In her first video for Storytime with Fergie and Friends, the Duchess said: “It’s so exciting because I am in my favourite place ever and that’s with children and thinking of all the children that just need a little bit of magic.

“You’re not alone. Everyday I’m going to do a Storytime with Fergie and Friends, not just Fergie.

“You’ll have to wait and see, it’s going to be very exciting and don’t worry they’re not very long books […] let’s get a little bit of magic going on here shall we.”

On Thursday, the Duchess posted a video on her Youtube channel making flower tarts.

In the video, Ms Ferguson takes a piece of pastry and rolls it out before cutting out a flower shape.

Ms Ferguson announced in the video that she would be bringing out her own tool kit soon.

After cutting the pastry, the Duchess said to put the flower shapes in the oven.

Once cooked, she placed edible petals and lemon curd in the centre of the pastry to create a flower tart.
