Sarah, who also goes by the nickname Fergie, was pictured waving to well-wishers and beaming as she made her way to St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, where the young royal is due to wed financier Thomas Kingston this afternoon. Sarah, 59, was seen making her way into the chapel after eldest daughter Princess Beatrice, 30, strolled in alongside boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 34. The Duchess paired her outfit with brown heels, a matching clutch and a feathered hat. 

Lady Gabriella, 38, will follow in the footsteps of Prince Harry and Meghan when she ties the knot in the Queen’s favourite chapel. 

Members of the royal family are beginning to arrive at the historic venue to watch the Queen’s first cousin’s daughter and Mr Kingston, 40, say “I do”.

Gabriella is the only daughter of Prince Michael of Kent and his wife Princess Michael of Kent and is 52nd in line to the throne. 

The couple’s son Lord Frederick Windsor, 40, is married to Sophie Winkleman and they have two daughters. 

Gabriella and Thomas’ nuptials mark the third royal wedding in a year. 

Fergie looked at ease as she made her way to the church a year after making her comeback into the royal circle after she was shunned. 

The mum-of-two was embroiled in a scandal in 2010 after she was caught on film demanding £500,000 in exchange for access to her ex-husband Prince Andrew. 

The following year she was noticeably absent from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding.
