Sainsbury’s opening times: What time is Sainsbury’s open on Bank Holiday Monday?
The first of May’s UK bank holidays is upon us and people across Britain can enjoy a welcome three-day weekend. May has two bank holidays, the first is tomorrow on May 6 and the second is on May 27. Banks will be closed and many businesses, including supermarkets, will operate reduced bank holiday opening hours.
While the UK won’t be treated to the same scorching weather we had over Easter, it’s still a welcome day of rest.
Barbecues won’t be on the cards for most, as Britain braces itself for one of the coldest May bank holidays on record.
Nonetheless, the chances are you may need to pop to the shop for something tomorrow and your local branch could be operating special bank holiday opening times.
So you best check when your local supermarket is open before heading there.

Most Sainsbury’s Locals will open at 7am and close at 11pm.
