Prince Edward made an emotional tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh following service this morning at All Saints Church, Windsor. The Earl of Wessex joined Prince Andrew, as well as the Earl and Countess of Wessex, and their daughter, Lady Louise to pay their respects and speak to well-wishers. Prince Edward says his father’s passing had come as “dreadful” shock  but said that Prince Philip had meant “so much to so many other people.”

Prince Edward’s wife Sophie, the Countess of Wessex added the Queen is “thinking of others before herself.”

Meanwhile, Duke of York also made a statement, saying that Queen felt the loss of her husband had left a “huge void” in her life.
