Royal wedding fever sweeps Britain everytime a member of the Royal Family walks down the aisle. Millions usually tune in to watch the bride and groom say ‘I do’, and to catch a glimpse of the bride’s long-awaited wedding gown. But now Princess Beatrice has tied the knot, royal fans are desperate to find out which royals will be getting married next.
As the daughter of the Queen’s son Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice was the latest of the Queen’s grandchildren to get married.
And while there has been no announcement of any impending nuptials for official members of the Royal Family recently, a number of people linked to the Royal Family have announced their engagements lately.
And given their family members in the Royal Family, we could expect to see some very special guests when their wedding days arrive.
See below to find out who could be the next to tie the knot this year.
James Middleton
Kate, Duchess of Cambridge’s younger brother, James Middleton, 33, announced in October 2019 he was engaged to his girlfriend Alizee Thevenet.
The couple announced their news on Instagram, alongside an adorable snap of them at the Lake District.
James wrote: “She said OUI”. Our secret is out but we couldn’t be happier to share the news #jalizee”.
It is believed James had hoped to tie the knot this summer, but a date has not yet been announced.
According to reports in the Daily Mail in March, James and Alizee decided to delay their wedding due to the pandemic.
A friend of James reportedly told the publication: “It’s very sad, but it’s just not practical to hold it in this crisis.
“Holding an AngloFrench wedding is impossible in the coming months and is still likely to be difficult in the summer.
“They would prefer to wait until all their guests are able — and happy — to attend.”
