Royal Wedding 2019: How Lady Gabriella’s niece Maud Windsor could be a bridesmaid

Details of this year’s royal wedding have been kept tightlipped by the Palace, but Gabriell’s niece Maud Windsor would be in great practice should the the granddaughter of Prince Michael of Kent, who is a cousin of the Queen, get the prestigious honour, Hello! reports. The little girl was bridesmaid at Princess Eugenie’s wedding last October. Sophie Winkleman is her mother, with Maud the oldest daughter of Peep Show actress and her husband Lord Frederick Windsor, who is Gabriella’s older brother.

Maud goes to school with Prince George, with the pair thought to be in the same class at Thomas’ Battersea.

Ms Winkleman told the publication: “We were invited to tea at Kensington Palace just before Charlotte was born. Maud and George get on very well.”

Ms Winkleman herself is a successful actress best known for her role as Big Suze in British comedy Peep Show.

She has also been in Two and a Half Men and recently appeared in the FX series Trust.

Maud’s parents were living in LA when she was born on 13 August 2013.

She was christened at the Royal Chapel at St James’ Palace, back in the UK.

St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle will host its third royal wedding in less than a year this weekend.

Lady Gabriella Windsor, 38, will tie the knot with financier boyfriend Thomas Kingston on May 18.

She will follow in the footsteps of Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie who both got married there last year.

While Lady Gabriella’s wedding will be fit for a royal, it will not be broadcast live to the public.

Unlike Princess Eugenie and Meghan Markle, whose lavish big days were shown live on TV, Gabriella’s will be a quieter affair.

Last year fans were able to watch the touching moment newlywed royal couples shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

Harry and Meghan melted hearts with their post-ceremony smooch on the steps of St George’s chapel.

While Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s first kiss, in the same spot, was described as the “most intimate ever” by the Daily Mail.

However, those hoping to see Lady Gabriella and Tom do the same will be sorely disappointed.

Buckingham Palace has confirmed Lady Gabriella’s big day will be a private family event.
