Royal warning: Princess Beatrice’s chilling prediction over future ‘ethical’ storm exposed

Earlier this month Princess Beatrice married property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. An isolated celebration, the ceremony was miles away from the grand event that it would have been seen if it were not for the coronavirus pandemic. The pair were meant to get married at the end of May.

Yet, the current lockdown curtailed their plans for a wedding similar to those royal watchers have observed in previous years, for example, with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.

It was initially unclear when the royal would reschedule the big day.

In March, a spokesperson told People Magazine: “There are no plans to switch venues or hold a bigger wedding.

“They aren’t even thinking about their wedding at this time.

“There will come a time to rearrange, but that’s not yet.”

But this month, the two tied the knot and Edoardo, or Edo as he likes to be called, became the Royal Family’s newest member.

In a statement, the palace said the ceremony was “small”, had taken place at 11am, and was in accordance with all relevant Government guidelines.

When lockdown in the UK began, weddings in England were banned under almost all circumstances.

From July 4, ceremonies of up to 30 people were allowed to take place.

Beatrice and Edo released their official wedding pictures which attracted much attention.

Asides from comments on Beatrice’s elegant appearance, many were quick to note the fact that her parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, were nowhere to be seen.

The Sunday Times reported that Andrew, who has been embroiled in controversy in recent months, “wished to avoid overshadowing his daughter’s big day”.

Many commented on Beatrice’s brave show amid the current events unfolding.

Princess Beatrice is not one to shy away from impending events poised to seriously impact people’s lives.

Earlier this year, the royal, while appearing in an interview with Made By Dyslexia, revealed her anxieties over a future in which today’s children will have to make the biggest “moral and ethical decisions”.

While talking about the state of education and how it might be improved, she said: “I think technology plays a really important role.

“Tech-enabled learning and what we can achieve with that, what we can do for multiple classrooms across the world taking children to centres of excellence and being able to connect to people, being able to tell a very different story, delivering homework help and support and online tutoring.

“These are great assets and great tools for young people.

“I really see the work we’re doing – raising awareness around dyslexia – as a true pillar to stand up the concept of reimagining education because so many young people now are going to be faced with some of the biggest moral and ethical decisions.

“You really want to make sure they have every tool for success.”

Beatrice is an advocate for children with dyslexia.

The royal herself struggled with the mental disorder growing up.

Earlier on in the interview, she gave those suffering with dyslexia a touching message.

She said: “Do not be defined by those moments that happened to you in that exam or classroom because they are lifelong learnings.

“They are lessons that you carry with you and they build you up to be who you are.”
