Royal tour: Kate and William add surprise person to team for one very special reason

The pair are embarking on their fourth day of the tour in what has been a busy and touching trip to Pakistan. As reported by the Daily Mirror, Royal Family members take a host of staff on their trips abroad.

Including their hairdressers, assistants and social media gurus, the pair have a plethora of staff to call on their every need.

The Duke and Duchess, however, added one extra staff member to their team according to royal expert, Rebecca English.

The pair have apparently added a doctor to their team in order to be on hand if they are sick at any time on their trip – a person that only usually travels with the Queen.

Moreover, the pair have just taken any doctor but have decided to use one of William’s old colleagues from his time East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Alongside the newly acquired doctor, the couple also have their private secretaries, Simon Case and Catherine Quinn.

Moreover, they also have their communications secretary, Christian Jones and four other members of the team.

Before they embarked on their trip, the tour was one of the most “complex” ever.

Speaking on the trip, their communications secretary, stated just how much of a challenge their trip would be.

Mr Jones added: “This is the most complex tour undertaken by the Duke and Duchess to date, given the logistical and security considerations.

“Pakistan hosts one of Britain’s largest overseas networks, with the British High Commission in Islamabad being one of the UK’s largest diplomatic missions in the world.

“The UK’s links with Pakistan are extensive, and Their Royal Highnesses are looking forward to building a lasting friendship with the people of Pakistan.”

Such is the intricacy of the trip that the movements of the Duke and Duchess will not be published until the last minute.

Furthermore, they will also be looked after by a mass of up to 1,000 police officers.

On the third day of their trip of Pakistan, the pair visited the Hindu Kush mountains.

Following that, they headed to the Chiatibo Glacier in Broghil National Park.

After being welcomed by the dignitaries with a book of photographs of Diana during her trip to the country in 1991, the Prince experienced a touching moment.

Upon receiving the gift, William stated his immense gratitude.

The Duke said: “That’s very kind, thank you.

“Thank you very much.”

In another touching moment, during the tour William and Pakistan’s President, Imran Khan spoke of how they once met during the former’s childhood.

Recalling his days as a test cricket player, Mr Khan recalled a moment when William saw Mr Khan play cricket.

William said: “When I went with my mother to see a Test match my cousin was playing and he scored a century and I told my mother I wanted to be a Test cricketer.

“I never realised how difficult it was to eventually become one.

“Similarly, when I told you that I wanted to succeed I didn’t realise it would take me 22 years.”
