Royal split: Meghan Markle offered support from Kate amid ‘difficult’ moments with family
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to speak out about the incessant tabloid coverage that Meghan is receiving since becoming a member of the Royal Family. The documentary, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, aired on October 23 and was met with both sympathy and support.
In the documentary, Meghan decided to tell the world about the constant scrutiny she faces from the scrupulous British media and how it has had a major impact on her life.
The former Suits actress revealed that not many people gave asked her how she has been after she became a mother this year to six-month-old Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
Royal experts Kate Nocholl told Entertainment Tonight that the documentary “came as a bit of a bombshell for the Royal Family”.
However, now it appears members of the Royal Family have shown their support for the couple.
Ms Nicholl told ET that Prince William was especially concerned about Meghan and Harry after the documentary.
But others too have sprung into action for the young Duke and Duchess.
She said: “[Members of the royal family] clearly can see that this is a couple who are struggling with their new position, their new royal roles and I think members of the family have reached out to try and help.
“It’s my understanding that the Duchess of Cambridge has tried to communicate and has offered to be there for both of them.
