Royal snub: Meghan Markle and Harry reject A-lister Kardashians as they select celeb squad

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will officially end their royal duties on March 31 and the couple have already begun to select their ‘A-list’ squad. The couple are reportedly choosing who they’d like to work with and who they would like to keep close. However, the Sussex’s seem to want to keep away from the Kardashians.

Speaking to Heat magazine, a source told the publication the Royal couple have been “overwhelmed” by offers.

However, they were quick to reject the Kardashian clan.

The source said: “Meghan has been overwhelmed by the number of A-list celebs who want a piece of her and Harry,

“So she’s having to be very careful about who they commit to spending time with.”

The Duchess is said to be in the process of working out who is best to prioritise after acquiring several meeting requests and big names reaching out on a daily basis.

However, it seems she wasn’t so keen on being hounded by TV personality/entertainment manager Kris Jenner.

The insider says Kris has “repeatedly tried” to organise a meeting with Meghan and Harry.

They added: ”There has been some unwanted attention, and Meghan has decided to distance themselves from the Kardashians for now.”

The former Sussex Royal “wants to be friends with stars who share the same values as her.”

The Duchess reportedly wants to “make big efforts in their careers to give back and improve the world” on issues like climate change and mental health.

Meghan wants to assemble an A-list squad that will help secure her and Harry’s new life in America, and to “prove that they don’t need the royal family to achieve their goals”.

A list of stars reportedly eager to collar with the royals include Ellen Degeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Margot Robbie, the Obamas and Beyonce and Jay Z.

Meanwhile, in the UK the Sussex’s seem to be cutting ties as Kate and William are set to jet off almost as soon as the couple return to the UK.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to return to the UK on Friday to continue with their final engagements before stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family.

Royalists were interested to see if the “fab four” would be attending any royal engagements together.

However, it seems contact between the four will be kept to a minimum.

On Monday, Kensington Palace announced that Prince William and Kate Middleton would be making an official visit to Ireland in the middle of Meghan and Harry’s return.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be out of the country from March 3 to March 5.

The couple will spend time in Dublin, County Meath, County Kildare, and Galway.

This is a far distance from where Harry and Meghan’s royal duties will be taking place.

After landing in the UK on Friday, Harry will be visiting Abbey Road Studios that same day for a meeting with Jon Bon Jovi and the Invictus Games Choir.

That will be followed by a joint appearance at the Endeavor Fund Awards on March 5, the Mountbatten Music Festival on March 7, and the Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey on March 9.

Prince Harry will be attending the Silverstone Experience with Lewis Hamilton without his wife on March 6.

Meanwhile, all the way in Ireland, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be continuing to work on their projects aimed at helping young people.
