Royal shock: The disturbing item the Queen and Prince Charles must take when they travel

All royals are expected to travel with a set list of items, which includes a black outfit when they go overseas. They must abide by this rule in case when they return back to the UK, they may back to come back in mourning. This was something Her Majesty endured after returning back from Kenya in 1952, where her father passed away.

But according to Marie Claire there is an even more disturbing item the Queen and Prince Charles must bring on their travels abroad.

Both are expected to take a pack of their own blood.

The blood is handled by a Royal Navy doctor while they are travelling and is used in case they need a blood transfusion.

This means regardless of where they are in the world, they can still receive urgent medical treatment if needed.

The revelation comes after it was revealed the Queen will only ever carry cash with her on Sundays in order to donate to her local church.

She remains cash free throughout the week and whenever she goes on royal trips across the country.

The Queen attends church every Sunday as part of her role as head of the Church of England.

It is part of her job that the Queen is said to take incredibly seriously.

After services, a collection is held for the church, which the Queen contributes to with her pristine note.

Reports suggest that the Queen gets the note so she can stealthily contribute.

As previously reported, a source said: “She donates to the church collection basket.

“Her butler irons a five pound note into a little square by folding it until you can only see her face.”
