Royal shock: Archie to follow Meghan’s ‘divisive’ childhood as ‘insult’ to Queen rages on
During the ROYALS podcast, Zoe Burrell and Angela Mollard discussed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to leave their 9-month-old son in Canada while they returned to the UK in order to fulfil their remaining royal engagements. Ms Mollard stated that it would be an “insult” to the Royal Family and the British public if baby Archie is continually not brought back to England with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Ms Mollard said: “We understand that the Queen is very sad that little Archie isn’t coming over.”
Ms Burrell replied: “I think it is quite sad too for Will and Kate and Charles.”
Ms Mollard said: “I totally agree with you, the fact is what Harry wanted for his son was a normal childhood yet he is not having a normal childhood.
“He has got no connection with his cousins.
“It seems to me he is going to be living a life pretty much like Meghan’s.
“There was a lot of division in that family, she was quite isolated.
“If you watch the documentary with Thomas Markle the lasting impression of Meghan was that she very much grew up like this only child.
“She didn’t have siblings, she had these direct relationships with her parents.
“Of course that gave her tremendous confidence and an ability to speak to parents.”
She added: “What Harry has always said is that he wants his children to have an upbringing kind of like Zara and Peter Phillips’ children.
“This happy go lucky country upbringing, he is not going to be getting that.
“He is going to surrounded by security staff and if they have to keep coming back and they don’t bring him it is such an insult.
