The once-close pair put on a united front for the cameras on Thursday – what would have been the Princess of Wales’ 60th birthday. But do you think that Meghan Markle, 39, should bring Archie and Lilibet back to the UK to visit the statue – located in Kensington Palace’s sunken garden?
Vote now in our poll on whether the former Suits actress should let the children visit the tribute to their late grandmother. And let us know what you think in the comments section below.
Meghan gave birth to her second child – which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex controversially named after her great-grandmother’s childhood nickname – last month.
This left her unable to visit the UK for Thursday’s ceremony.
But it is unclear how welcome she would have been had she been able to make the event.
Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the rest of the Royal Family have been increasingly strained since they stepped back as senior royals last January.
Then their explosive Oprah Winfrey chat in March – during which they levelled accusations of racism at an unnamed senior royal – led to the biggest scandal to engulf the family in decades.
Prince William later publicly declared that his family is “very much not a racist family” in a firm rebuttal of their Sussexes’ outburst.
Ever since both camps have thrown barbs at each other – leaving Harry and Meghan increasingly isolated.

And with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations due to take place next February – it raises the possibility that their recent antics may lead them being snubbed altogether.
Royally Obsessed podcast hosts Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie discussed how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may fit into the plans.
Ms Fiorito told listeners: “Harry and Meghan have officially been invited to Platinum Jubilee celebrations next year.
“To me that’s not a surprise.
“But the coverage is all about the line-up on the balcony, and if they will be included up there.
“I think that’s just finding the negativity in this confirmation.”
Ms Bowie added: “I worry about the Sussexes being there.
“I feel like there are so many opportunities to make it look like they are being snubbed.
“I think one article mentioned that it can only be working royals on the balcony.
“They said no one else can be up there so Harry and Meghan won’t be up on the balcony.”
She continued: “I just think it’s twisting a loving grandmother inviting her doting grandson to an event that he obviously is going to be included in as family.
“I just feel like every time there’s just a way to make it feel like the Sussexes are being left out.
“And it’s because they successfully forged their own path.”
