Royal Family fans are eager to find out about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, whose 2019 exodus topped off a dramatic year for the Firm. They have settled in North America, first in Canada, and later in Los Angeles, and have made few public appearances since then. The couple has a wealth of future homes to choose from, and some people have questioned whether one of them is back in the UK.
Could Harry and Meghan move back to the UK?
Aside from some limited stays, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex haven’t made any significant returns to the UK since they left the ranks of the working royals.
The couple last set foot on British shores in March, when they completed their final duties before setting off for Canada.
Despite their seemingly definitive exit, the couple has a path to return to the Firm if they so choose.

The first year of their emancipation will serve as a test for the couple, as they have an open invitation to move back home.
Per arrangements with the Royal Family, the first 12 months of their time abroad will act as a “transition” period.
The detail allows the crown and the Duke and Duchess to “ensure the arrangement works for all parties”.
While this means the couple could return, royal experts believe they won’t want to.
Julie Thee Montagu, Viscountess Hinchingbrooke, suggested the couple likely wouldn’t want to come back after having experienced Los Angeles.
Speaking to Us Weekly, she said the couple would happily settle in LA, and choose the city as their permanent home.
She said: “I don’t know if there’s necessarily going to be a culture shock because who doesn’t love LA?
“They’re going to have a lot more freedom.”

Viscountess Hinchingbrooke added: “I don’t think that they do want to come back,” she guessed.

“I think they’re like, ‘This is where we’re going to make home.’”
Los Angeles is Meghan Markle’s place of birth, and her mother, Doria Ragland, still lives in the city.
Ms Ragland has allegedly moved in with the royal couple while they establish new roots in the city.

A source told the Daily Mail the Duke and Duchess moved her into their £8million 90210 mansion, where she lives in a “granny annexe”.
The source said: “Doria has her own quarters and whilst a few of Harry’s chums have been ribbing him about living with his mother-in-law, he has a brilliant relationship with her.”
