As senior members of the Royal Family, Prince William set to take the throne after his father, Prince Charles. However, still, when it comes to how they have been handling the COVID-19 quarantine with their three young children, their struggles are the same.

Under normal circumstances, Prince William and Kate have very busy schedules.

They both have regular appointments on behalf of the Royal Family, as well as their own projects and charitable ventures.

However, the couple have always had time for family, and not being able to see them has been hard.

Although William and Kate have remained in the public eye through regular appearances on social media and conference calls, neither Prince William nor Kate has been making normal social visits.

Just as many families have been missing family visits during quarantine, so have Kate and Prince William.

Kate recently revealed that one of the most difficult parts of the lockdown has been the fact that her children can’t see their loved ones like they are used to.

“It’s really hard,” said the Duchess of Cambridge.

“We hadn’t done a huge amount of FaceTime and face calls and things like that, but obviously we’re doing that a lot more now, and actually it’s been really great.”

Prince William also chimed in on the matter, revealing on one virtual engagement that even video calls with their relatives have been tough.

He said: “It gets a bit hectic, I’m not going to lie.

“With a two-year-old you have to take the phone away.

“It’s quite hectic for them all to say the right thing at the right time without pressing the wrong buttons.

“But it’s great and it’s nice to keep in touch with everybody.”

Kate recently revealed that she has been trying to explain the coronavirus crisis to her children George, Charlotte and Louis.

However, the young royals don’t understand quite yet.

She added: “Although you don’t want to scare them, I think it’s important to acknowledge it in an age-appropriate way.”

During the lockdown, the Cambridges have even had the same challenge many Brits have had of not being able to take a trip to the hairdressers.

With many health organisation officials recommending that people of all ages avoid hair salons for the foreseeable future, Kate, just like thousands of other mothers all over the world, has been cutting her children’s hair while in lockdown.

Sources even state that Kate has become a pro at trimming their hair.

The source said: “George’s is easy.

“Charlotte likes her hair off her face and so it’s long enough for a mini ponytail.

“They both have easy hair to cut.”

The same source revealed that Kate learned how to do basic hair trims from her mother, Carole Middleton.

They even added that the duchess doesn’t think that it is “any big deal” to trim her children’s hair at home.
