Royal glee: The adorable way Prince George gets ready for school every morning
Comedian Frank Skinner, who penned the 1996 England song, said that Prince William revealed his son’s passion for the tune, when they chatted back stage at the Royal Variety Show. The Duke of Cambridge said: “Honestly, George plays it every morning ever since the World Cup (last year). I thought it would fade away but it hasn’t.
“He still plays it every day.”
As the pair shook hands, the comedian joked: “I think you’re the first Aston Villa fan I’ve ever shaken hands with.”
Mr Skinner is a loyal and committed fan of West Brom, who share a fierce rivalry with the Villans.
William admitted recently that his son supported Chelsea.
Speaking on the BBC’s ‘A Berry Royal Christmas’, the Duke revealed: “I tried not to be too biased, I said ‘you can support anyone but Chelsea’. So naturally, he supports Chelsea.”
William and Kate took George and Charlotte to watch a football match at Villa Park in October.
Despite his Chelsea allegiance, the young prince was captured celebrating enthusiastically every time Villa scored a goal.
Each time the Villans scored young George could be seen jumping for joy, while punching the air and cheering loudly.

He said: “A long time ago at school, I got into football big time. I was looking around for clubs. All my friends at school were either Man United fans or Chelsea fans and I didn’t want to follow the run of the mill teams.
