Royal fans swoon as William and Kate recreate sweet moment moment from 2014
Prince William and Kate Middleton arrive at Royal Ascot
Kate, Princess of Wales and Prince William melted the hearts of royal fans in Twitter when they recreated a sweet moment from 2014 at the Order of the Garter service on Monday this week. On June 19, Kate proudly looked on from the sidelines as her husband took part in the ceremony and procession at Windsor Castle, with Prince Edward also joining William while his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh stood with the Princess.

As William and Edward arrived at the ceremony they both glanced over to their spouses, as Kate broadly beamed back at her husband.
Royal fans on Twitter noticed that the touching gesture mirrored a similar shot taken at the same event nine years ago, with William back then also looking over to Kate and her grinning straight back at him.
One fan shared pictures of the two moments next to each other, writing: “History is repeating itself, William and Catherine have just recreated a scene. Their love is everything.”
Another added: “Their love just got stronger and her smile [got] bigger for him with time” whilst a third commented: “The lovely smile is still there.”
One fan suggested that the Order of the Garter holds some sort of humour for the Prince and Princess, writing: “I get the feeling that [William and Kate] have some kind of running joke related to the Garter Service, and that’s why she looks like she’s on the verge of giggling. Which is adorable in and of itself.”
Edward and Sophie shared a similar adoring look, as a royal observer tweeted: “The look of love between the Prince and Princess of Wales also between the Duke and Duchess of Edinburg is so palpable and beautiful.”
Pod Save the King host Ann Gripper, speaking on the episode released on Thursday, noted: “People were very much enjoying Kate’s eyes for William as he is walking down, strolling along.”
This year’s Order of the Garter service was a noteworthy one as it marked King Charles’s first as monarch since the death of Queen Elizabeth last September.

Royal fans weigh in on why Lady Louise has never attended Royal Ascot[REVEAL]
William and Queen Camilla joined Charles as he led his first procession, as Princess Anne, the Duke of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent.
Kate first attended the ceremony back in 2008, three years before her and William were married at Westminster Abbey in 2011, although she has not yet been promoted to the Order.
One royal and Garter member who was not present however was Prince Andrew, who was banned from attending the service for the second year in a row.
The Duke of York had reportedly hoped he could make an appearance this year, yet sources have told Express.co.uk that last year set a precedent for his part in the procession and he will continue to be denied a public role for the ceremony.
