Despite not appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have “unofficial” plans, which may be unknown to “the powers that be” including attending Friday’s Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral, according to commentator Camilla Tominey. She warned of a “circus following their every move” during the celebrations.

This is the first time the couple has returned to the UK as a family since stepping down as senior royals in March 2020.

Prince Harry to run back to UK ‘with tail between legs’

Prince Harry will return to the UK one day “with his tail between his legs” and face an emotional reunion with Prince William, according to Paul Burrell.

Former butler to Princess Diana, Mr Butler believes Harry will at some point return to the UK and be reconciled with his older brother William.

He said: “Harry’s going to need his brother one day.

“I think he will come back to this country with his tail between his legs. His brother will put his arms around him and say, ‘Welcome home, Harry’.”

But Mr Burrell has cast doubt over whether Harry is “totally happy” with his new life in the US.
