The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who moved across the pond in 2020 after quitting royal duties, have reportedly started making enquiries about other homes. A source told the Sunday People: “They are thinking of selling their house there. However, it won’t be on the market because of who they are. It’s only being shown to people who are confirmed with funds and are serious buyers.”

Harry and Meghan reportedly like Montecito but are less keen on their current property and its location in the celebrity enclave.

The source added: “They want to stay in the neighbourhood or nearby but they aren’t over the moon about the house and the location.”

Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for the Sussexes for comment.

He was questioned about major royal events to expect this year during an appearance on Australia’s Today programme.
