During the interview, Meghan said that Kate made her cry at a bridesmaid fitting, and shared details of her apology with millions of viewers. Ex-Vanity Fair editor and author Tina Brown, who was friends with Princess Diana has claimed Kate was upset the issue was discussed publicly, adding things are likely to get worse after Harry publishes his memoir later this year. She said: “William was disgusted about Meghan’s attack on Kate because she can’t answer back. “But that’s nothing compared to how furious he’s going to be when this book comes out.” Representatives for the Duchess of Sussex were contacted for comment.
