Royal Christmas: THIS royal family’s Christmas plans REVEALED
Royal Christmas is usually spent surrounded by family on one of the royal estates. But this isn’t only true of the British royals, as the plans revealed this week by the Danish Royal Family proves.
On Tuesday, the Danish Royal Court confirmed plans for Queen Margrethe to spend Christmas at Marselisborg Palace in Aarhus.
The 79-year-old Queen has enjoyed Christmas and other important holidays at Marselisborg since her ascension in 1972, and this year will be no different.
She will stay at the palace from December 20, celebrating the holidays with her heir Crown Prince Frederik and his wife Crown Princess Mary, as well as her younger son Prince Joachim and his wife Princess Marie.
All the children will be there, making this a fun festive Christmas indeed.
