Revealed: The shock figure you could spend to purchase Meghan Markle’s Hollywood home
Before settling into life as a royal, Meghan lived in a stylish pad close to the heart of Hollywood. According to TMZ Meghan owned the property, where she lived and worked as an actress, in Hancock Park while she was married to producer Trevor Engelson between 2011 and 2013. The colonial-style house boasts four bedrooms and 2,000 sq. ft of space.
To make the most of the sun filled California days, there’s a large garden and even an outdoor eating area for some classy al-fresco dining.
The interior of the house has all the modern needs fit for a West Coast royal, including stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors.
The house comes with a large open-plan living room complete with a statement fireplace.
Buyers of the house will also get use of its massive kitchen, with an eat-in breakfast area.
Before being back on the market, the home was put up for sale in December 2017 and bought for £953,289.
After splitting up with her ex-husband Megan moved to Toronto to star in drama series Suits.
Meghan soon swapped LA for Windsor after met Harry in London in 2016.
The couple now live in Frogmore Cottage, Windsor, after moving there in April before the birth of their son Archie.
The five-bedroom property was a gift from the Queen but required mass refurbishment before they were able to move in which included new heating, wiring and utilities.
A renowned interior designer was brought in to help transform the cottage’s kitchen, bathrooms and even build fitted wardrobes.
The total makeover of the property cost £2.4million, but further work is likely to increase it to £3million upon completion.
Officials close to the couple said they paid for their own “fixtures and fittings” to make them feel at home.
