Red Arrows flypast MAPPED: Full route schedule as aerobatics team makes TRIPLE display

The British staple flight teams have one last week of displays in August, and they kick off the schedule with several appearances today. People can watch the planes wheel through the skies above southeast England this afternoon, with each flight departing from Southend Airport. Red Arrows will participate in one flypast and two displays, and fans can also catch them on their route home.

Where will the Red Arrows appear today?

The Red Arrows currently reside at Southend Airport, from which they will begin each of their three planned routes today.

The first route will bring them over crowds at Cowdrey Cricket Club and Eastbourne Airshow.

After a brief break, the planes are due at the Folkestone Airshow in the evening before they return to RAF Scampton.

The Red Arrows Eastbourne Display and Cowdrey Cricket Club flypast will bring the planes on the following route:

  • Southend Airport: 1.36pm
  • Northeast of Sheerness: 1.38pm
  • South of Faversham: 1.40pm
  • Vicinity of Coxheath: 1.42pm
  • Cowdrey Cricket Club flypast: 1.45pm
  • West of Tonbridge: 1.46pm
  • Vicinity of Crowborough: 1.47pm
  • North of Lewes: 1.48pm
  • Northeast of Alfriston: 1.49pm
  • Eastbourne display: 1.50pm
  • Oversea: 2.16pm
  • Vicinity of Whitstable: 2.20pm
  • Southend Airport: 2.23pm

The Red Arrows will follow the following schedule for the Folkestone display this afternoon:

  • Southend: 4.50pm
  • East of Sheerness: 4.52pm
  • Oversea: 4.55pm to 4.56pm
  • North of Whitstable: 4.58pm
  • Vicinity of Canterbury: 4.59pm
  • Northeast of Elham: 5.00pm
  • Folkestone display: 5.01pm
  • Oversea: 5.27pm
  • East of Dover: 5.30pm
  • East of Margate: 5.32pm
  • South of Burnham on Crouch: 5.35pm
  • Southend: 5.36pm

The final route home will bring the Red Arrows over the following locations tonight:

  • South of Bicknacre: 7.47pm
  • Northwest of Sudbury: 7.51pm
  • Redgrave: 7.54pm
  • Northwest of Fakenham: 8.00pm
  • Vicinity of Skegness: 8.03pm

When are the next Red Arrows displays?

After today’s busy schedule, Red Arrows teams are expecting more of the same next week.

The teams have another seven events from August 24 to 28 before they retire for the month until September 1.
