The sweet photo of the Cambridge family reveals a number of personality traits of the young royals, as they are captured candidly. In the picture, Kate is pictured laughing with her children, while Prince William chats to natural historian Sir David Attenborough.
Prince George, seven, is pictured sitting on a wooden bench next to his father, looking shy as he looks at the ground.
The third in line the throne is wearing a smart blue chequered shirt with navy jeans and smart black shoes.
By contrast, Prince Louis, two, shows off his cheeky side by standing with his hands in the air.
The youngest Cambridge child wears an adorable pair of navy shorts, with matching long socks and a blue jumper.
Princess Charlotte, five, clings to mum Kate in the picture, as she wears a pretty grey floral dress.
The royal has part of her blonde hair tied back in a plait with a cute blue ribbon.
Kate giggles at her two youngest children as she watches them play.
While William, who is holding Sir David’s new book, chats with the veteran broadcaster.

Sir David visited Kensington Palace to show the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a private screening of his new environmental documentary, A Life On Our Planet.
The viewing was held in the gardens of Kensington Palace on Thursday afternoon.
Prince William and Sir David were offered directors’ chairs with their names printed on the back, which were placed at an appropriate distance apart in accordance with current coronavirus guidelines.
But the two men decided to switch things up and sit in each other’s seats when they watched the preview of the documentary.

A picture from the screening shows Sir David, 94, wrapped in a blue and grey chequered blanket, and the Duke watching the veteran broadcaster on the screen.
At the conclusion of the viewing, Sir David chatted to William, Kate and their three children.
Last year Prince William interviewed Sir David at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
During the discussion the broadcast warned that humanity needed to act so that they did not “annihilate part of the natural world”.
Both men share a passion for protecting the natural world and continue to support each other’s endeavours to tackle some of the biggest environmental challenges the planet faces.
This includes working together on the Duke’s Earthshot Prize, an ambitious global environment project announced last December to combat climate issues.
Further details about the prize are expected in the coming weeks.
David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet premieres in cinemas on Monday and will launch on Netflix on October 4.
An accompanying book is published on October 1.
