Rainham fire: 60 firefighters tackle blaze after entire house roof set alight

Roughly 60 firefighters are tackling a blaze on Bulmer Walk in Rainham after the brigade was called at 1.49 AM.

According to London Fire Brigade, the firefighters are tackling a blaze in a home where an entire roof of a terraced house is alight.

It has also spread to a neighbouring home.

The cause of the fire is not known at this time, the fire brigade stated.

The information was shared by London Fire Brigade who issued a statement: “The entire roof of a terraced house is alight and part of the roof of a neighbouring property is also alight. 

“The Brigade was called at 01:49. 

“Fire crews from Wennington, Hornchurch, Barking, Dagenham and surrounding fire stations are at the scene.”
