Prince William and Kate could be set to leave their apartment in Kensington Palace to take up residence outside of London, according to recent reports. The Cambridges could move, along with children Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte, to Windsor, it has been suggested. Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti, speaking to Express UK this week, said: “I think there are a number of reasons why they would want to make such a move, and absolutely proximity to the Queen is one of them. “She’s had a pretty tough year, including losing Prince Philip, and one doesn’t picture the Queen alone.

“She’s definitely going to be feeling a sense of solitude related to losing her husband, something that many people will be familiar with.

“If William and Kate move to be closer to her, that could certainly help in that respect, and indeed [to have] children there.”

An anonymous source also told Vanity Fair recently that “[A move to Windsor] would mean the children changing schools, which is an upheaval…but it has many advantages too.”

A move could present challenges for the Cambridges and their family, and William and Kate have previously opened up on another parenting dilemma they endured.

This included in November 2018, when the Duke opened up about a tough his children’s internet use.

William spoke about the subject while making a speech at the BBC to mark Anti-Bullying Week.

During the speech, he said: “We still haven’t worked out what the right balance is for online time.

“It’s quite difficult, it’s still a very fluid dynamic.

“We’re going to have that discussion with our family, how on earth are we going to police and have family time when the phones are all put down and you’re offline?

“Because we’re all so connected now that we’ve got to say for instance, ‘right, we’re eating now.'”

William continued: “This generation are going to be the first generation to grow up fully immersed in mobile phones, social media, lots of stuff.

“And yet our generation, the older generation, the parent generation, we’re completely left at, ‘how do we deal this? Where do we go to? Where do you learn about how to look after your children’s digital world?'”

On the same day Prince William also gave a passionate anti-cyberbullying speech in which he attacked social media and tech companies.

The father-of-three admitted that social media companies had “done more to connect the world than has ever been achieved in human history”.

But went on to add: “I am worried, though, that our technology companies still have a great deal to learn about the responsibilities that come with their significant power.”

William and Kate are seen by many as attentive parents to their kids, but that hasn’t stopped their children from misbehaving from time to time.

Prince George, for example, had a tantrum during the wedding of his auntie Pippa Middleton and her husband James Matthews in 2017.

Footage of the wedding party leaving the ceremony could reveal why he received a scolding from the Duchess of Cambridge – as George appeared to step on the train of the bride’s £40,000 wedding dress.

The young prince broke down following the ceremony at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire.

Kate appeared to be exchanging a few cross words with George as they waited to get in the car to the reception.

Charlotte was also seen in a bad mood while the family were in Hamburg in 2017.

While her older brother enjoyed the helicopters at the airport, Charlotte refused to board the aircraft while her mother tried to calm her down.
