The Royal Family has been left shaken by the allegations to emerge from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bombshell interview with Oprah which aired last weekend. Commenting on the rift between the couple and the Firm, Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu has insisted that the saga could have been adverted had the Palace acted sooner. The US women’s right activists also slammed the Queen’s official statement in response to the revelations.
Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu told The HeirPod podcast: “If they had done anything publically and denounced the negative press against Meghan.
“That would have gone a long way.
“Because the negative press helped to shape public opinion about her.
“And to Meghan’s point during the Oprah interview not once did Buckingham Palace publically denounce, reject or go on record saying that is not true, that is unexpectable.”

“It is almost as if they are living in a private bubble of their own.”
