Queen’s great grandchildren: First pictures of all EIGHT of Queen’s great grandchildren
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry proudly showed their newborn son to the world today, in St George’s Hall, Windsor Castle. The couple were obviously ecstatic, speaking of their happiness at having their two-day-old son in their arms. Prince Harry held on to his son, stealing glances at the adorable little tot whenever he could.
Both Meghan and Harry spoke of their delight with Meghan saying: “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing.
“I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy.”
This new baby brings the total of the Queen’s great-grandchildren to eight – meaning baby Sussex will have no shortage of playmates as he grows.
Through her son, Prince Charles, and his son Prince William the Queen has three great-grandchildren.

These are Prince George of Cambridge, five, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, four, and Prince Louis of Cambridge, one, children of Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.
Through her daughter Anne, Princess Royal and her daughter Zara Phillips, the queen has two great-grandchildren.
These are Mia Grace Tindall, four, and Lena Elizabeth Tindall, 10 months – the daughters of Zara and her husband Mike Tindall.
Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips has also granted the Queen two great-grandchildren.
These are Savannah Phillips, eight, and Isla Phillips, seven – daughters of Peter and his wife Autumn.
Whilst there are not first appearance photos for the Phillips or Tindall children, there are cute snaps of the youngsters.
The Queen has not kept it quiet that she adores her grandchildren, welcoming Prince George into the family during her Christmas 2013 royal address.
She said: “Here at home my own family is a little larger this Christmas.
“As so many of you will know, the arrival of a baby gives everyone the chance to contemplate the future with renewed happiness and hope.
“For the new parents, life will never be quite the same again.”
She has also spoken of how she loves to decorate the Christmas tree with her great-grandchildren, saying of the decorations: “The children love knocking those off.
“Well, my great-grandchildren do, anyway they enjoy themselves.
“And the great thing is to make them decorate it and they’re a bit more careful.”
