Queen’s favourite fashion brand starts making special coronavirus masks

The companies include The Vampire’s Wife, which is worn by members of the royal family such as Kate Middleton and Princess Beatrice. Children’s clothing brands such as Rachel Riley clothing and Amaia Kids, both of which have been worn by Prince George and Princess Charlotte are also marketing masks.

The government this week urged members of the public to wear face covering if travelling by public transport.

Trendy luxury brand The Vampire’s Wife revealed two versions of the Vampire’s Wife Silk Face Mask last week, on sale for £35.

The 100 percent silk covering sold out within a day.

Proceeds from sales of the mask are being donated to The World Health Organisation (WHO) COVID-Solidarity Response Fund.

The brand was founded by fashion designer Susie Cave – the wife of musician Nick Cave – in 2014.

It has been spotted on several royal family members, including Kate and Princess Beatrice, as well as socialites including Olivia Hunt, Charlotte Riley and Sara Parker-Bowles.

Meanwhile, Lavender Hill, one of Meghan Markle’s go-to labels are selling cotton face masks.

The luxury basics brand have packs of three cotton coverings on sale in various colours and patterns, including a hot pink, denim, and striped pattern.

Lele Sadoughi, also one of Kate’s favourites, are selling bundles of the face masks.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted in one of the brand’s headbands while on her tour of Ireland earlier this year.

The £32 offer comes with three reusable soft cotton face masks hand-embellished with accessories. One of them is embroidered with pearls, gold stars, and flowers.

Other luxury companies promoted by fashionistas across the world are also taking part.

British e-commerce Plumo are selling a colourful range of organic linen face coverings, on sale for just £10.

Plumo is giving £2 for each one sold to the Mask 4 Heroes crowdfunding campaign.

Children’s clothing brands also started to design stylish face coverings.

Designer Rachel Riley is on of the Duchess of Cambridge’s go-to brands for her children, having frequently dressed Princess Charlotte in their designs.

The designer will be donating 10 percent of profits from the sale of these covering to charitable efforts.

Meanwhile Princess Eugenie urged her followers to support the “wonderful” Amaia Kids who created her bridesmaid gowns and are now designing children’s masks.

Amaia Kids, whose shop is located in Princess Eugenie’s local area of Chelsea Green, has found support from royals including the Duchess of Cambridge.

The cotton coverings, come in children’s and adults’ sizes and retail for between £12 to £15 online on Amaia’s website.

The masks are said to be reusable and come with five filter changes for “extra security and longer mask duration.”
