The Royal Family’s Windsor estate was the victim of another safety breach, only a week after Prince Andrew’s own scare. Reports have emerged that two people were spotted on the grounds, close to where the Queen lives. Royally Obsessed podcast host Roberta Fiorito explained what had happened and how it affected the monarch.

She told listeners: “My low this week is that there were two more Royal Lodge intruders.

“I’m more so worried about the Queen.

“A 31-year-old man and his 29-year-old girlfriend broke into the grounds of Royal Lodge, close to where the Queen goes for walks with her corgis.

“According to The Sun, the couple wandered around for ages before anyone spotted them and the police were called.”

Ms Fiorito continued: “You have to wonder, what on earth is going on up there?

“Recently there was a breach from a woman claiming her name was Irene Windsor, and that she was Andrew’s girlfriend.

“She talked her way into the Royal Lodge.

“A source told The Sun that this is an ‘astonishing lapse’.”

Prince Andrew’s own security scare was reported at the end of April.

The woman in question arrived at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, where the Duke of York lives with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

The 43-year-old claimed she was there to have lunch with the 61-year-old royal.

She allegedly spent 20 minutes walking around the gardens, and even entered the building where the Queen’s son was at the time.

After she was caught, security even paid for her cab fare.
