The Queen will be celebrating her 70th year on the throne with was is expected to be an amazing four-day celebration across the UK. The “spectacular tribute” to Prince Philip will reportedly take place during the event, which will begin on Thursday, June 2, and will continue over the weekend until June 5. A new bank holiday has also been announced for the occasion.
Speaking on his Youtube channel, Neil Sean spoke about the event discussing one act the Queen is reportedly keen to have included at the event.
Mr Sean claimed: “According to a very good source, Her Majesty the Queen would like someone to close this spectacular show for her next summer.
“It is none other than a lady that has brought such glamour, glitz, and gold, Dame Shirley Bassey.
“Dame Shirley Bassey is the only woman to record more than one Bond theme, she’s done three in fact.

“Her most famous is Goldfinger. According to a very good source, Her Majesty loves Dame Shirley Bassey and so did HRH Prince Philip.”
The NBC royal correspondent continued: “She apparently was one of their very favourite singers.
“Alongside, for Her Majesty, another old school entertainer, the 1940s ukelele playing George Formby.
“Sadly he is no longer with us but I’m sure he could be represented some way on the stage.”

Shirley Bassey was made a Dame Commander by the Queen at a ceremony in Buckingham Palace in the year 2000.
She collected the award after receiving recognition in the Millennium New Year’s Honours List for services to entertainment.
The Cardiff-born star was also chosen to sing for the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations.
The event is speculated to be the “biggest event ever in the UK,” after all it will be the first time any British monarch has celebrated a Platinum Jubilee.

It is rumoured to be costing over £10 million and has potentially star-studded performers.
Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Ed Sheeran are being tipped to perform, with Dame Helen Mirren and Stephen Fry among a ‘Best of British’ cast.
A palace spokesperson said the event “will bring together some of the world’s biggest entertainment stars to celebrate the most significant and joyous moments from The Queen’s seven-decade reign.”
