Queen health fears: Prince Charles coronavirus diagnosis sparks ‘monarch test’ question
Buckingham Palace has announced that the Prince of Wales Prince Charles has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus. The Prince is reported to have mild symptoms and continues to work from home. This has lead royalists around the world to question the health status of the Queen and whether she has been tested for the illness.

BBC’s royal correspondent Sarah Campbell said: “This does beg the question has the Queen been tested.
“The statement on Prince Charles has just been released and we are expecting to get some more details about this.
“Obviously both the Prince of Wales and Camilla are over 70.
“The Queen and Prince Philip are in their 90s so there will be a huge amount of concern if they were to get COVID-19.”

The royal expert was also asked how much members of the Royal Family were interacting with the public in the last few weeks.
Ms Campbell said: “They have been taking steps to protect themselves.
“We did see the Queen wearing gloves which she had never done so before.
“But the decision was really taken last week, in line with the national guidance, that that was not good enough.
“Simply, the meetings had to stop because what does the Queen and Prince of Wales do? They meet people as that is their job.”
Following the news on Prince Charles, the Palace have released this statement: “The Queen remains in good health.
“The Queen last saw The Prince of Wales briefly on the morning of March 12 and is following all the appropriate advice with regard to her welfare.
”We will not be commenting further.”

Despite this statement, fears remain high the Prince may have infected his mother while contaminated with the illness.
Sky News correspondent Rhiannon Mills said: “Doctors most conservative estimate is that the Prince is likely to have been contagious from around March 13.
“This is the day after he carried out his last official public engagement.
“People will also wonder when was the last time he saw his mother, Her Majesty the Queen, the last time the Queen met with the Prince was very briefly on March 12.”
