Royal commentator Russell Myers insisted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s comments on being trapped in the Royal Family were extraordinary. While speaking about the interview on the show True Royalty, Mr Myers explained why he disagreed and voiced his appreciation for the Queen’s dedication. Mr Myers said: “One of the most extraordinary lines from the interview is one I cannot get out of my head.
“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have said that the Royal Family are all living in a gilded cage, duty doesn’t mean anything.
“They have said that the Royal Family don’t have the option to leave, if they did have the option they would all do the same as Harry and Meghan.
“I think the Queen has devoted her life to service, it is absolutely outrageous to say that.
“Having that assumption is just extraordinary.”
