Camilla, the Queen Consort, has wowed royal fans with her outfit at Ascot on Saturday. She attended British Champions Day at the Berkshire racetrack in a black-and-white midi dress.

Photos from Ascot showed the Queen Consort wearing an A-Line garment featuring a V-neck cut and white bodice.

She paired the outfit with a linen-blend matching hat, opaque tights and black suede heels.

Camilla also wore a four-stand pearl choker with a round diamond clasp, as she attended the finale of the flat.

The Queen Consort was also pictured in the parade ring at Ascot ahead of the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.

Twitter users gushed over Camilla’s outfit at Ascot, with user @melanieredie saying: “She looks great!”

Another user, @rhodanielson364, added in reply: “Indeed she does.

“Love also her nod to mourning still using dark but lighter shades in her hat.”

User @GraceandThanks said: “She wears the best hats! They suit her so well.”

User @BernardLonergan also said: “Her Majesty looking great, just noticed her foot is still strapped. Hope its on the mend.”

The Mail on Sunday reported in September Camilla could take over from the late Queen as the Royal figurehead of horse racing.

A senior racing source told the outlet: ‘I think now it will be Camilla – she will be the figurehead.

“The plan has always been that Charles and Camilla would take on the legacy.

“Camilla obviously adores horses and is hugely passionate about racing.

“She really loves it, particularly Cheltenham – the jumps. I think there’s a pretty clear plan, given the Queen’s passion and love for racehorses.”

Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace aides reportedly hope to change Camilla’s tiles from Queen Consort to Queen.

According to the Telegraph, a source said Buckingham Palace would be continuing to use Queen Consort in its formal communications, all written messages, and operational notes about Camilla’s engagements.

The outlet reported Camilla’s supporters will now rely on the press and public choosing to use the simpler “Queen Camilla” in time.
